Bottle in austria. Hazy light brown-yellow colour, with a small offwhite head. Nose is light roasted malts with a hint of banana. Taste is a nice balace of roasted malts, banana and weizen. Low carbonation, no bitterness. Although i don’t like weizen, this is a decent beer for me.

Draught at Biergarten in Tivoli. Slightly hazy amber colour with a creamy off-white head like. Fruity aroma with grasses, sweet fruits, banana, caramel malts. Slightly toasted notes. Taste is lightly sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with fruity hints and caramel malts. Okay Dunkelweizen.

Bottle - Hazy light brown colour, tall, foamy beige head, good retention and lacing. Fine fruity and phenolic aromas, overripe bananas, cloves, some caramel, milk chocolate, crushed wheat. Taste is like bread, cereals, bananas, pineapple, subtle chocolate, low hop bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, creamy texture. Decent dunkelweizen, but definetely not top.

Een typische dunkel, weinige volle smaak, slechte schuimkraag. Wel een grote hoeveelheid (fles).

50 cl from tap@Biergarten in Tivoli, Copenhagen in weizbeer glass@approx 6 degrees C. Pours hazy reddish brown with off-white head with short retention. Aroma of malt, wheat, a little yeast and caramel Taste is somewhat sweet and light bitter with a caramel, spices and banana being predominant also in the aftertaste. Medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. I much prefer the regular weizbeer from Edelweis and am beginning to think that I much prefer that style in my weizen overall.
