A thick, undulating head atop a murky red-brown ale- sure looks like a dunkleweizen. The aroma is a bit subdued, but with hints of clove, and light spice. The palatte is a little thin, but the flavor is good. It does not have the full flavored body and tartness that I like in a wheat beer. A good dunkleweizen, but not a great one.

Bottle, Danke Stefan. Dark amber, offwhite foam. Strong clove aroma.Dry body, a bit fizzy. Minerally roast, grilled banana, dry spiciness, salty flat finish, actually somewhat moreish that way. Grilled peach retronasal.

Muddy brown color with foam head. Wheat banana nose. The taste has banana-bread and a heavy character. The aftertaste is wheaty.

(bottle, cheers to sinh4 for this one!) murky brown colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy banana skins, roasted malts and bread crusts, slightly yeasty, with lots of grass and some marshmallow. flavour is mostly roasted wheat and yeast, with some more bread crusts, a touch of banana and a slightly minerally finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

Chocolade bruine kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt banaan, tarwe, gist, beetje kruiden. Smaakt zoetig, fruitig, banaan. Aardig.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Ripe bananas, dark fruit, lots of yeast. Not overly balanced or distinguished though. Sweet, okay.

Bottle in austria. Hazy light brown-yellow colour, with a small offwhite head. Nose is light roasted malts with a hint of banana. Taste is a nice balace of roasted malts, banana and weizen. Low carbonation, no bitterness. Although i don’t like weizen, this is a decent beer for me.

Draught at Biergarten in Tivoli. Slightly hazy amber colour with a creamy off-white head like. Fruity aroma with grasses, sweet fruits, banana, caramel malts. Slightly toasted notes. Taste is lightly sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with fruity hints and caramel malts. Okay Dunkelweizen.
