Golden colour withy creamy head. Aroma of bananas, wheat, yeasts. Similar are flavours with low carbonation and bitterness. In finish a little too watery.

1.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
0,5l bottle. Well, I dont like yeasty-sour beers and this one is a fine example. I prefer the blue version which is much milder and easy drinkable compared to this stuff. Not my cup of beer, hope I dont have to drink this again.

Bottle. A light fruity aroma, some bananas and yeast. The body is cloudy and pale yellow, the head is white and creamy with a short duration. A strong taste of banana and some vanilla. The body is light, very creamy with a lively carbonation.

A cloudy, straw coloured wheat beer with a typical large white head. Exceptionally smooth mouthfeel with plenty of bananary esters & a slight bitter finish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml bottle from supermarket in Vyborg, made by Heineken Russia, hazy pale yellow colour, small frothy white head, fair lacing. Moderately malty aroma of grain and bisquit with moderate banana esthers with some cloves and a hint of generic hops. Taste is moderately sweet at first, turning into a bittersweet finish wiht a hint of sourness. Medium body, dry mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Tolerable but unsurprising weizen, probably better price-quality ratio in Russia than with the bulk German wheat beers they sell at four times the price.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Popular Austrian Hefeweizen, tasted many years ago, ABV was 5.4% then; rating from old notes. Straw blonde, cloudy beer under a creamy, yellowish white head, less ’lush’ than I am used to from its Bavarian brethren, but this may have to do with the bottle being a few years old already at the time. Aroma of bready malts, sourish wheat, cloves, baker’s yeast and a hint of banana; bready, yeasty taste, dryish with a sourish wheat effect, faint spiciness and a faint hint of herbal hops in the background, refreshing. Acceptable but I had many better (usually Bavarian) examples of the style.
