This is my favourite beer. Drinking it is a real pleasure. (unlike the usual beers, which i drink just cause they are beers) hehe.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2011 Re-rating again. Cloudy yellow colour with firm, creamy head. Rich, earthy aroma from tinny phenols, pine-apple, banana, wheat biscuits, tad sulphur, smoke phenols and clove. Full-bodied beer with the perfect mouthfeel, rich and mushy. Flavour comes in layers. Big fruit-compote feast where apple and banana play well together, followed up by light smokey phenols, tin and a little clove. Big body, low bitterness and medium sweet. Superb hefeweizen with all the best possible characteristics in (almost?) perfect harmony.

Pours a dark amber gold in the glass with nice white head. Nose and taste is predominately citrus with banana, soft wheats and hay. I should re rate this. It’s been awhile. Rated 1/15/2000

This beer was a good overall fit for this style. Not from one of the bigger breweries over here but a job well done.

Good white head atop a hazy faint-yellow body. Aroma is medium sweet, banana. Taste is medium sweet and yeasty. The balanced sparkling fits to the light tartness.

One of the better Hefe-trueb beers. Doesn’t maintain a great head for very long, but sure keeps its taste and complexity, even after standing out for some time in a glass.

Nice white head cloudy yellow color, sweet bready citrus aroma, lot of yeast on the bottom of bottle, light sweetness, medium bitterness, good carbonation, light body, wery fresh beer, long aftertaste. I like it!

Yellow,cloudy, huge hefe head,awesome banana aroma, delectable banana taste, great body , wheat comes through late and finishes smooth! A first class hefe..man...dare i say its better then paulaner? I know its not as well constructed as Paulaner but the banana really does it for me.
