Bottle. Dark orange, cloudy body, with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma of banana, orange, clove, some bread, some roastyness. Taste with about the same aromas. Mouthfeel is medium to light, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes light, fruity and spicy. Somewhere between a pale Hefeweizen and a Dunkelweizen. Not bad, but a bit too thin for my liking.

Though i’m not a great lover of ’weissbier’, I really fell for Edelweiss. It’s best served with a slice of lemon, really cold. Back in the college years, we had loads of Edelweiss in Múzeum Kávézó, Budapest. Yesterday, I had one in Kamara Café, it was a real punchline for a hard day’s night.

Appearance with amber color (dark), cloudy liquid and high head. Average aroma. One medium acidity on the palate and low bitterness.

500ml Flasche. Trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner cremigen Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, minimal würzig.

A mid orange amber coloured, slightly hazy beer with a frothy white head. A light, slightly citrusy aroma, the traditional wheat beer elements come later, light clove spice and tropical fruit. Dry mouthfeel. A dry wheat taste to start, is followed by a citrus dominant fruit flavour, lemony, then the tropical fruit, bubblegum and clove spice, makes for a more refreshing wheat beer. Tasted at Gasthof Eggerwirt, Kitzbühel, Austria. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Op de tap bij de 3 dorstige herten, licht van kleur. Witte schuimkraag. Eerste smaakimpressie : fris, citrus, licht. Zachte afdronk.

Orange cloudy with white creamy head. Smell of oranges, citrus, honey and little banana. Palate is crispy, and light , carbonation is fizzy. Taste is tart and fruity with wheat yeasty malts. After taste is tart, and has strong wheat malts taste.. Maybe a bit more fruity and tart light in texture than most Hefeweizen beer, but I like it. Reminds me of Belgian wheat beer mixed with some Berliner Weisse or Gose due to astringent kick.

Many thanks to Martin! The beer is cloudy-amber in colour, nice banana-clove nose. It starts nicely refreshing, full-bodied with a slight aroma of clove and caramel. The mainpart is nicely fruity, smooth, clove, dark brown banana, caramel, brown sugar. But not sweet! The aftertaste is long, very round and smooth, Great!
