Bottle at restaurant. Pours hazy dull strawcolour with a frothy, and a little bit creamy, white head. Pretty aromatic with grains and fruity yeast of banana. Also some spices in the nose. Much of the same in the flavour but more fruity and a slightly taste of esters with pear.Light bitterness. A silky and creamy mouthfeel. Fresh and deliciously tasty. Tried it with sushi and this really awekened the spices and the sweetnes worked well against each other.

Bottle. Yellow slightly foggy colour, head qvickly disappearing, but with an aroma quite great for a weissbeer. Taste is medium, but the aftertaste a bit too sour.

0.33 bottle. Extremely firm fruity aroma, mostly banana and bubblegum. Pale golden liquid, slightly hazy, small head disappearing almost instantly. Decisive sweet taste with small sour tones making it refreshing and drinkable rather than heavy and sticking up. Rather light body and thin texture, lively carbonation and medium sweet-sour finish. Surprisingly good, distinguishable from its own style through its concreteness and determined taste, might be to sweet for some yet worth trying, uncommon.

SHIG (2703) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Bottle: Hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is light wheat and citrus. Taste is rather citrus fruit with a nice wheat hint, more of a witte than a hefe to my palate.

Smelling this beer is like walking in a fruit garden, where you find bananas, peaches, lemon, oranges, apples, you name it. Tastes mostly of peaches and bananas but you have the herbs there as well. A very, very nice beer. A mix of Beligian ale and a weissbier. First class!

Bottle @ The Oak Barrel, Helsinki. Pours hazy golden with a small white head leaving lace. Aroma is yeasty, bananas, wheaty, fruity, cloves and spicy. Flavor is very fresh, nicely wheaty, yeasty and spicy with some cloves, cumin and perry. Finishes yeasty, fruity and slightly bitter.

citrus, resin, herbs, pale, hazy, white foam, frothy, light sweetness, banana, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation. Citrusy-herbal smell, stable head with good lacing, clearer than most wheat beers I’ve seen but still hazy. Strong Banana taste at first swallow, recedes into an almost lemony taste after a few seconds. Not very much aftertaste other than a slight lemony feel. Not bitter at all. +3 on the nice bottle. -10 on a screw-top. (shame of you, Snowfresh!) Decent beer. Not the best Wisse I’ve tasted, but fun.

330mL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with big offwhite head, notes of banana, grain and wheat, great carbonation, almost medium body just a tad bit on the thin side, but overall quite a nice weiss.
