Found Edelweiss in a Prague supermarket. Very pleased with my purchase. Fine, foamy head. Diaphonous, golden color is slightly more transparent than the typical weissbier. This Edelweiss is not your typical weissbier. It is hard for me to put my finger on exactly what separates Edelweiss, except for the color. As others have said, it has a spice flavor and aroma. Lovely, smooth finish. It’s very refreshing.

330ml Bottle- Amber/orange in colour with a small head. The aroma is spicy with bananas featuring prominently. The taste is quite mellow at first but the spices are detectable again with the banana being very noticeable and lingering in the finish.

Hazy orange color, decent creamy white head. Wheat, clove, sugar and coriander in the nose. Clove, banana and wheat in the herbal flavor. More or less ordinary witbier with some interesting herbs/spices added.

bottled. hazy orange with plenty of gunk clinging to the bottom of the bottle. heady aroma of deodorant and lemon barley lollies. pretty drinkable, some faint lemon rind tartness, the only hefeweizen that’s readily available in plzen supermarkets and it could be worse

330ml bottle. Light hazy orange, quickly dissipating head. Sweet citrus and corriander aroma, some banana too. However, it’s a bit lemonady. Taste is fairly typical yeasty wheat beer taste - with a bit more zing and citrus, and slightly thin and with sharp carbonation - more lemonady. Probably pretty OK as a summer time quencher, but when you’re thirsty everything tastes better.

An orange beer with a very creamy white head. Aroma is lots of herbs and yeasty. The body is a little bit thin. Taste is wheaty, fruity (banana), notes of herbs. A good wheat beer
