MrHangover (3214) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle @ THT January. Pours a clear golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma of sweet tropical fruits, some pineapple and peach with some sugary notes. Flavor has some rum influences, basically it’s white rum with sugar influences and some beery notes. Not very complex and the barrel aging does not really add another layer to this beer. Quite ok, not much else.

Crystal clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light sweet malts. Little vanilla sweetness. Light dry finish brings a whisper of rum. Quite Innis & Gunn like.

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
Scopey (9016) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle at the Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. It pours clear golden amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty grain, wood, earth, light vanilla, rum and lemon peel. The taste is toasty, grainy, bitter, tropical fruits, wood, lemon, rum and cola with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite Innis & Gunnesque. Wish the base beer was better, as there is some decent fruity rum notes to it.
