Draught at the brewpub. Almost black colour, seems clear. Big frothy brown head. Roasted aroma, hint of soy and black bread. The flavour is roasted, has some barley bitterness. Otherwise quite mild. Pleasant enough.

Malziger Antrunk mit herbem Einschlag. Im Mittelteil flaut der herbe Ton ab, die Malzigkeit ist von nun an hopfig geprägt. Als auch dieser Ton milder wird ist die Malzigkeit etwas kernig-getreidig und bleibt bis zum Ende so. Kaum würzig, trocken.

Very dark color, almost black; creame beige head. The aroma is lightly sour. There is a light flavor of roasted malt, quite dry, with light sourness too. It has a bit of caramel and body more than the Dunkelweizen. Another flawed beer here.

Cloudy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and rye bread. Finished sweet.

Light unclear medium brown color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sweet toffee & butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy hard roasted burnt bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090524]
