Our Version of a West Coast original, this IPA has bold levels of hop aroma, bitterness, and flavor. Dry hopped in two stages to give it a piney, citrusy and soft fruit flavor to satisfy your hop cravings.

On tap at La Resistencia, Barcelona. Hazy, deep amber colour. Intense piney and citrussy hop nose, very dry in the mouth. One-dimensional, but nice.

A great introduction to a brewery’s IPAs and an even better and more original name. This was a really crisp IPA. However, the maltiness was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, coming across as very apple and almost candy like. However, another easy to drink brew from Edge that really hides it’s alcohol content. Drinks at a 5-5.5%

UPDATED: APR 15, 2014 Super fresh on tap! The flavor reminds me to the blue Sugus, very fruity and super sessionable. Nice pale orange color with fluffy white head. Malty aromas followed bya fruity hop explosion, on palate the body is light but the flavor is very smooth and intense with a final bitter ending.

A great IPA with an amazing color and a strong aroma! Just the right bitterness to balance with the sweetness that the malt gives you!! The fresh aroma of hops brings you some piney, citrus, tropical fruits and even a slight garlic!! Very recommended for the lovers of hoppy beers!

Draught @ Edge Brewing Tap Takeover @ La Mes Petita, Barcelona

Pours dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of fresh wet grassy hoppiness, caramely malts, citrus and exotic fruits. Taste is wet hoppy, fresh and citrusy with some grass, sweet fruity notes, caramel and toffee. Finish is bitter, smooth and sweetish with some lingering bitterness and juicy hoppiness. Quaffable and tasty, fresh IPA.

Grifo. On-tap. Tasting glass @ Homo Sibaris (Barcelona). Brass color, clear appearance. White froth creates a lasting thin layer crown leaving wide lacing. Mild toasted & sweet malt, piney & resinous, citric & underneath floral aromas. Sharp bitter flavors ovewhelm the solid malty backbone. Light to medium. Moderate carbonation. Oily texture & spicy touch. Astringent citric zest resolves in a long bitter finish. Refreshing, very easy drinkable - despite its ABV- & hoppy as expected from aromas. A real West Coast one!!

@ Bar Mingus, Barcelona. Nice aroma, perfect colour. Very smooth taste, classic american style IPA. Balanced carbonatation, nice head, soft liquid in your through. Very fresh hops, quite herbal and citric. Very nice IPA indeed. Best IPA of Barcelona so far.

Lots of fleshy fruit in the aroma... mango, etc. Smells like it provides a bracing bitterness. It’s in the flavour that the grapefruit bitterness comes through. Appearance? Burnt orange, thick creamy white head, frisky carbonation, which is perhaps a little too vigorous in the mouth. This is their first batch, I believe. A great start! Look forward to tasting its development!
