Draft. A black beer with a brown shine under a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, brown sugar, roasted malt, and hints of smoke, leading to a smooth roasted finish. The body is light. To me it lacks a bit of body, but the flavor is wonderful.

Black bodied, small head. Toasty, licorice root, bit creamy, dry, not as rich as expected. Not very full for the abv and quite some residual sugars I think. Needs some work. (Sampler at the brewery)
