Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Yellowy brown, like a well trod lawn. Rather predictable, nondescript, inoffensive bitter. Some sour malt bitterness with a smidge of sweetness.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell as Franklin’s Brighton Rocks. GOlden brown with a tight white head; soft caramel malt aroma; biscuity malt flavour with some fruitiness; and a pleasant light bitterness to finish. A good session bitter.

Overall - Above average bitter

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2010. Pours a copper color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity sweetish malty caramel flavor with some nutty hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some nutty hoppy hints in the aftertaste.
