Delightful delicate beer. Given the label I expected a hoppy beast. Instead we have a nice amber beer with lingering white head that has a pleasent spicy aroma. The flavour is a mix of herbal/vegetable and grapefruit flavours, there is a bit of maltiness on the back palate and the finish is restrained. Memorable for being less rather than more.

light amber color. Minerally tropical fruit nose. Light bodied. A touch sweet light bitter finish. Very pleasant and refreshing. It really takes pale lager to the next level.

with the name i thought it was going to be a hop bomb. aka ipa style labelled as a lager. but this was well balanced. great amber colour. restrained hops allowing aroma and flavour to come through, without being hash. bitter and overbearing. perfect summer beer

KeefOz (1100) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - SEP 14, 2013
Upon pouring, the white foam filled the 20cm tall glass to the rim and then took some time to diminish. It produced a semi-translucent golden coloured liquid. Low carbonation as seen by a few small bubbles. Visually unappealing. Aroma mainly of floral hops but subtly of caramel. Taste very slight sweetness on tip of tongue thereafter dominated by a pleasant hops bitterness. Light to medium body. A bit dry but with a long nice hops finish. A nice tasting beer.

330ml stubbie. Poured a semi-clear golden amber with a 5mm off-white foamy head that diminished quickly and laced OK. High carbonation - lots of small to large sized bubbles forming trails. Aroma with moderate hops as well as faintly of sweet malt. Taste initally a subtle smooth sweetness followed by a faint floral hops bitterness then a strong hops bitterness dominates the after-taste. Light body. Long bitter finish. More like a pale ale.

This beer is most certainly the best Australian lager style by a long shot. Great summer drinking.

Draft. Fruity nose, mod bitterness, thin malts, has a touch of citrus bitterness. Brewed with Beer Here. I’m not sure how this relates to the other variant of Cool Hops.

Cloudy golden color, dense white head. Sweet, caramel, hoppy taste. Hoppy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Malty sweet scent.

Tap at Mane Liquor. Pours a bright gold colour with 2cm of head. Citrus fruit and pine hoppiness in the aroma, with a nice malt sweetness. Smells like a well balanced pale ale. Taste is really clean: hoppy, tropical fruits with a malty caramel sweetness. Really refreshing and crisp, well balanced pale lager. think I’ll be taking a growler home.

Golden/amber colour, very low head but still slight gas on tongue. Pleasant mild malt with no aftertaste. Little or no aroma. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mane Liquor, Perth. Amber with a slight white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and biscuity malts. Flavours of pineapple, stone fruits and rich teas , with a hint of white pepper and dryish finish. Excellent.
