COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Edison Light is brewed with only water, hops, yeast and 100% malted barley--no adjuncts, enzymes or dextrose found in other light beers. Edison Light has a fresh hop aroma and unexpected flavor derived from a proprietary (patented formula) along with undertones of spicy floral and citrus notes.

12oz bottle courtesy of DuffManSW. Pale gold appearence, if that’s a color, but that’s what I get out of it. Kind of smells like that sweet hawaiian bread, very bready. Not a whole lot of flavor going on here, slight citrus zing, but not much else, very bland and boring. (971)

Tap at Taco Mac. I think I figured the chemical formula for this. Combine one part shit with two parts horse piss and bingo! Grainy and nasty. Forgetaboutit!

Had this at a bar in Atlanta, the problem with that evening was I can’t really remember the bar, but I remember the beer. This reminded me of Skol Beats. It was a little sweet if you ask me, along the line of Corona sweet. I can’t really explain it. Very light; too light, actually. Had this out of the bottle, so in terms of appearance, I was having to look through the bottle. As said, I believe this to be about as close to Skol Beats as possible. Has that urine, almost bright yellow appearance. Nothing special here. Not horribly watery, but not a great palate either. I was intrigued by the name, and then quickly saw that it just wasn’t anything special. Now if I could only remember the name of that bar/club....?

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s in Richmond, VA. Pours a pale straw color with a thin wispy head of no consquence. Aroma is light grain and nothingness. Taste is grain, straw and nothingness. Thin, watery and absolutely inoffensive. Damn.

Thanks to Maniac who corrupted me with good beer and then got this. Clear bottle from Trader Joes. Yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma was skunk and metallic. Flavor was inoffensive. It’s mildly beer flavored tap water.

Bottle from Trader Joes - Short Pump on 04/11/2009. Very clear pale yellow body with a medium frothy white head. Skunky aroma with light honey and grain. Sweet cheerios and corn flavor with light grassy hops. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

EithCubes (3050) - GERMANY - MAR 20, 2009
Clear bottle from Trader Joe’s. Sweet corny nose, golden pour, light malty taste with more corn and faint dryness after a cloying start. Strong carb at first but tails off to complete flatness. Aftertaste isn’t too bad. Medium-light body. On the whole, can’t kill this unbalanced, inoffensive lawnmower brew, just wouldn’t go for a sixer.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of synthetic white head and some rising carbonation. The aroma picked up sweet pale malts and corny notes with little else evident.. weak, but non-offensive. The flavor had a pale malt and faint cardboard core with more aggressive corn syrup and light scratchy bitterness on the edges.. finished short and sweet. Light-bodied and dry on the palate with little substance.. quite drinkable, but not much going on.
