COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Edison Light is brewed with only water, hops, yeast and 100% malted barley--no adjuncts, enzymes or dextrose found in other light beers. Edison Light has a fresh hop aroma and unexpected flavor derived from a proprietary (patented formula) along with undertones of spicy floral and citrus notes.

Well, I normally wouldn’t touch any beer that says ’Ice’, or ’Light’, but this beer was recommended by a fellow who knows beer and said it was quite drinkable. Clear light gold in color, white head that evaporates quickly, very light lace. Nose is malt, crisp, the front is sweet, the top light, the finish is clean, dry, acidic, and not as weak as most ’Lights’. It is drinkable, and would be good on these ’Hot Arizona Summer Days’.

It takes no genius to figure this out: Strike One: Clear bottle; this explains why it smells (and tastes) skunked. Strike Two: It is a light beer; drink less good beer if calories bother you, as all light beers have little to no taste. Strike Three: It tastes like cardboard; soggy moldy cardboard. This beer is utter and complete crap, hopefully they will stop producing this soon and its inventor (and anyone involved with it) is left to suffer a life of mockery and poverty.

As Noer1 says, Definitely a bold statement. I don’t know if this is brew by the man who invented light beer, but It is a pretty flavorful light. Very drinkable.

As the ad says, ’No it wasn’t Thomas Edison, but it was actually Joe Owades’ who invented the light beer. A pretty bold statement. It is a full flavored light beer, and possibly one of the best American style light beers I’ve ever had. It has a fruity aroma and a nice lacey head. Good full flavor but a peculiar aftertaste. A very drinkable light beer.
