pours a clear yellow hue with a frothy, fast-dying head. Aromas of swill.....i mean hay, a light hop, skunk, grass and oats. Mouthfeel is full bodied......no , i’m kidding.... light bodied with flavors of the typical pale lager. skunky goodness from the clear bottle, grassy, cereal, with a lingering finish.

Jun 4, 2008 Comes in a clear bottle, colour is a light straw yellow body with no head, barely any aroma- nothing more then grain- very light flavors, corn, grain and something sour. Pretty dull.

Mar 24, 2008 12oz clear bottle. pours clear light golden with white head. nose is skunky. flavor is skunky, sour lemony, and green apple. i’d take high life over this any day.

Dec 15, 2007 Joe Owades had his hands in this recipe along with Rhonda Kallman. When I heard they were making this beer several years ago I wanted to try it, but never saw it until a friend brought me a sample. Before I tried this beer my favorite light beer was Grant’s Celtic Ale (or mild I make myself) .. after I tried this beer that hasn’t changed. Just a tad of sweet toffee character on top of a light lager. I wish they made this as an ale to make a few flavors. Disappointing.
