50cl bottle bb04/2015, bought at Mannheim layover, Yorma’s. Starts with a farty entry into macro hell aromawise, but recovers from its sulphuric origins by what seem to be natural, not extract hops (cf. label), providing a distinctly lemony, pleasant finish. Palate is ok, graininess subdued, well drinkable for the swill it wants to be.

Yormas bayrisch export lager beer 5.4%. Pale gold thin layer of bubbles. Well it’s not terrible but not good either. The malt is a bit thin and it’s more carbonation than hop on the finish but there is some lemon flavour. Ok average but lemon on finish is decent

Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Malty, grainy, hints of bread. Hoppy flavours in the finish.

(bottle) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of caramel, cooked vegetables, light vanilla, bread dough and grass. flavour is mostly the same, with heavy notes of kidney beans, caramel, powdered sugar and a dry finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Ingolstadt’s main train station, by 03.04.13. Lightly grassy nose with bright malt underneath, pale yellow-golden. Taste is light-medium bitter, touch of hard water over the simple malt, just barely floral. Medium body.

Edler Sud Export, 5.4. Ordinary golden body, relatively small head. Fruity, slightly dusty, slightly vegetabley nose. The taste starts promising, flowery and polleny, but it’s limp, slightly sulphury and cardboardy. Ok for a supermarket lager.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

50cl bottle. White foamy head. Clear golden pour. Not great by any means.

Test vom 3.9.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,6,7,6 - 6,80
