GABF 2007: Poured a hazy brown color with a beige head. The aroma had a smooth bourbon scent with nice vanilla notes. The malt had some sweetness to it. The flavor was of bourbon and fruity malt. There was some tartness to it that didn’t really match up. Warming in the chest.

GABF ’07. Pours dark brown with a spare, fizzy, light brown head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, caramel, nutty), average hops (flowers, perfume), average yeast (dough, leather) with notes of light alcohol, wood, and vanilla. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
