3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 lumpsowers (286) - Oklahoma City, USA - JUN 15, 2009
Clear copper pour, low head, medium lacing, rising bubbles. Yeasty bready aroma. Fizzy and a little sweet, with a rich piny, citrus tack at the end. Slightly nutty, with no bite. A very smooth and drinkable beer, I’ll have this one again.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Easton70 (3) - - MAY 20, 2012 does not count
I tried a bottle on 20th May at the start of the summer. The is a great beer for summer afternoons or evening sessions with the lads. The colour is light but it has way more flavour than a mass produced lager. And it’s organic so no nasty chemicals.

17 may 2012, tap. Light gold, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sweet light caramel ale. Med/thin body and slightly fizzy. Very sweet. Tastes of golden syrup and some kind of tropical fruit I can't place. Not very nice. Very sweet and sticky for a blonde. No hops at all.

Corn, rice, and grass aroma. Crystal clear amber, medium head poor retention, decent lacing. Quite vegetal, caramel and corn flavor. The caramel notes are the saving grace of this beer. Corn husks finish. Not dissimilar to Cracker Jacks, except there is no prize to be had from this beer.

Originally reviewed: 4/15/11. Single 12oz bottle picked up in a mixed-sixer from Total Wine. Haven’t had anything from these guys. I was in the mood for something light and easy-drinking, so I grabbed this.
Pours a lightly hazy dark gold with a thick 2-finger bone-white head on top. No lace left behind. The nose is really sweet with honeysuckle, apples, and sugar. The mouth is overly-carbonated IMO. Way too spritzy of a beer to be downed easily, which is within the bounds of this style. Simple sweet flavors carry over as well. Pale fruits, honey, lemon noted. Little-to-no bitterness present. Lighten up those bubbles and this is a decent summer beer. Glad I tried it. Not bad for an organic concoction.

4/20/12. 12oz bottle. Barely hazed golden pour with a small khaki head that fades and laces a tiny bit. Mild grainy aroma with hints of black tea. Sweet grainy entrance that fades to dry bitterness and more touches of black tea. Eh.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lagerboy (419) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 5, 2012
Unclear honey blonde, creamy white head lasts. Mild sweet malt aroma and taste, some floral hop and citrus lemon. Light and bland, average carbonation. Sours a bit as it warms. Bitter sweet finish. Unremarkable. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

12-oz. Pours a hazy burnished medium amber with scant loose white film. Biscuits and artichokes on the nose. Watery lightish body. Artichokey toasty mid palate. Long artichoke finish.

This beer pours a cloudy pale orange color. The head is a half inch in height, and recedes slowly into a nice cap of lacing. The aroma bready and toasty malt with no real hop presence. The taste is malty like the aroma, and bland in general. The mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with lively fine carbonation. Overall, this is a decent Blonde ale, but I don’t think I’ll drink this again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ROGUE (1360) - Newark, Delaware, USA - SEP 9, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a light amber color with a pillowy creamy white head that has good retention. Aroma is subtle, with a hint of sweetness from the malt and lemony grassy hops. Flavor is grassy hops, lemon spritz on top of a lightly sweet biscuity malt backbone. Some alcohol evident in the finish. Flavors are a little unbalanced, and do not blend nicely. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a heavy dose of carbonation.
