From bottle... poured amber with quick white head. Aroma was roasty dirt. Not much flavor at all. Some malts, mainly water with a bitter end. Not a fan.

...saying you wouldn’t buy it unless it was on sale is teling too. i fully agree with that. it’s a clean, no frills basic amber ale that’s nothing offensive and nothing worth spending my hard earned coin on."

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a semi-dark red / brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Some trickling lacing slides down the sides of the glass. The smell was a grainy sweet caramel maltiness lightly hopped in a slight bittersweet sort of way. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me with a semi - rolling sweetness over my tongue. Overall, I say this was a pretty good beer I could down again.

12 oz bottle consumed in Redwoods Park. Red-amber; clear; decent tan head and lacing. Aroma: an appealing mix of sweet baked grains with caramel. Flavor: Follows the aroma; average or low-average intensity. Limited aftertaste. Feel: Faintly prickly medium carbonation. Medium body. O: mild; resembles a Mexican Dark.

It has the amber color, but not quite the Amber taste. Still, slightly better than average.

Sample from a bottle left by the rep at Boulders on Broadway. Pours a clear, bright orange-amber color with a ring for a head. Notes of amber and caramel malts, mixed fruits, leaves, and sugars. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Very plain amber.

Bottle: Pours red-orange with a tall, heavy, vanilla head. Aroma is sweet caramel, butter..... Taste is pretty much the same.....malty, sweet, with a light earthy hopping. Creamy with a bit of a tart tanginess in the end. A little weak-bodied, but still pretty decent.

Clear amber w/ off white frothy head. Aroma is of butterscotch. Light carbonation and Nice body throughout. Flavor is strong caramel/toffee/butterscotch/vanilla. Nicely balanced hop character. Creamy like palate. Very nice organic brew!

Acquired from hayduke, thanks Ron! It poured a dark amber color with a white head. The aroma was malty with some roasted notes and caramel. The taste was somewhat sweet with some bready notes and it finished very smooth.
