No bueno. I started this account to read and make a review on this brew. Literally could not get thru my 2nd bottle of the 6-pack. Had to run to the store for my local IPA from lagunitas.

So this one looks great with the golden color and nice lacing. Good forming head upon poor. Smells good of hops and floral notes but does have a bit of a lasting taste and not so great finish. Good brew, not great.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
The beer pours an orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma has some perfume-like hop notes, as well as some light orange citrus. The flavor is a nice mix of orange citrus and biscuit malt, with a hint of bitterness. There is also a little grapefruit in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a nice light copper colour, with a huge fluffy white head. Heavy nose of pure hops, but the taste was much more subdued.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12-oz. bottle into a pint glass at my house on Aug. 24, 2012 (picked it up in a six-pack for $9.49 at Kiel’s in San Diego on Aug. 24, 2012). Poured a dark caramel with caramel laced white head. Thick, white foam on the sides, good retention on the top.
Really liked the smell. Got citrus hops (lemon, orange, peach) and floral hops up front. Then got some caramel malts.
Tasted a raw version of the smell. Citrus hops (orange/tangerine) and more of a caramel malt backbone. A bit grainy and heavy. Something slightly off.
Medium body. Creamy texture. Above average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. Gets old after a bit.
Not a bad beer, it had its moments. The look and smell had me hooked, but something was off with the taste.

Hazy amber beer, little white head. Dry palate. Caramel malt. Bitterish tangy hops - orange and grapefruit. Bitterish aftertaste. Not too bad but lacks a little coherence.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Buen aroma y textura. Se asienta bien en el paladar. Facil de beber, pero amargura decente. Notas de caramelo, final débil.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, from the Pipeline, thanks Duffman! Pours hazy orange/old, thin off-white head, soft lacing. Nose is mandarin orange, clean cardboard, some grass. Flavours are lightly bitter, with nondescript citrus, and some lightly vegetal earth. Not a drainpour, but not great either.
