3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Slightly cloudy light amber brew with creamy light tan head. Aroma dominated by caramel malt and a little floral hops. Taste is sweet malt at the start, a minor assertion of floral hops with a moderately sweet finish. A little alcohol pops up at the end. Very tasty and malty but while it looks like an IPA it seems to more like an amber or red in taste. Clean, well crafted and enjoyable malty brew.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

12oz bottle picked up at Total Wine
Appearance: Pours cloudy golden with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing
Aroma: Sweet caramel and dusty

OK, but unbalanced. Way to malty and sweet to be able to drink more than one of these.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is quite the clear, filtered golden-colored beer, highly carbonated, and prodicing a very airy white head. Have I mentioned how much I dislike the looks of filtered beers? Still, not holding its looks against it as I go in with the nose. Its aroma is fresh, clean, and very well-hopped with heavy floral and piney characteristics. Only a little caramel, almost candy-like sweetness comes through in the nose. It has a great flavor of biscuit and candy that’s light and crisp, especially for an English-style IPA, and much of its unique character is noticeable in the finish. Not bad... it’s very refreshing and almost minty.
