3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, but don’t know how old it was. This ipa kinda reminded me of an old school ipa: bitter, clean, not a huge amount of aroma/hop flavor, & dry. It was a decent beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Eel River Certified Organic India Pale Ale is not a bad example of the style. Nice floral aroma rising from a golden amber color with nice foamy head. Taste is also floral with moderate complexity and a slight pine finish. Eel River IPA isn’t necessarily a standout, but worth a quaff.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A little sea monkeys in suspension for this one. Misted deep orange with a soapy lather of off-white foam. Not much on the nose; perhaps some fresh cut pineapple, sour cherry, raspberry conserve, tree resin, rubber bike tyre, cardboard. Quite dry, light, heated with a good sense of the alcohol. Nutty, almond backbone with a bready hint and quite yeasty towards the tail. Pasty, buttery, diacetyl through the roof, but somehow balanced by the minty fresh, floral and almost noble hopping. Peppery, herbal finish. Minty length that is refreshing. Light bodied and spritzy up front with a soft swallow. Lacking esters, but the hops are dominant. A little of a weird one I couldn’t quite conquer. Just plain strange!! (12fl.Oz, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

Clear deep golden colour with a small white head.
Fresh citrusy and herbal hops, mild bitterness and mild maltiness in the aroma.
The flavour is floral and citrusy hops, mild bitterness and sweet caramel maltiness. Quite easy and drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
"looks and feels like a typical ipa...maybe a bit too carbonated? the aroma is pleasant, but not enough for this hop lover. the flavor is a bit of earthy hops and a sweetness that doesn’t quite add up. I’ll skip this one from now on."

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a quick thirty seconds. Light lacing speckled and then slid into the body.
The smell had a light citrus bitterness with an ample amount of sweet caramel malts.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed appropriately styled for the beer and for me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I could down again.
