COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with the finest organic malts and hops, our IPA features a bright-minted copper color and a crisp, yet smooth hop bitterness. Pale and crystal malts come through with a malty caramel sweetness, balanced with aggressively clean burst of fresh hop flavor in the middle palate without lingering bitter astringency. A strong floral and citrus character from generous dryhopping blends with strawberry esters from our house yeast strain for an inviting and satiating aroma.

So this one looks great with the golden color and nice lacing. Good forming head upon poor. Smells good of hops and floral notes but does have a bit of a lasting taste and not so great finish. Good brew, not great.

Pours golden with a thick, foamy head. Nose is all sweetness with some berry hints and citrus notes and a hint of florals. Sweetness and malts are, in my mind, out of balance with the citrus and floral hops. A brew that fights to avoid its hop bitterness is a bit at odds with itself. A mild effervescence does help the brew roll off the palate and deliver a clean, summer-friendly finish, however. A confused but not unpleasant brew for a warm summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from New Frontier Market, Eugene. Pours a dull golden color, lots of white head, some lacing. Aroma crisp and fruity, strawberry, subtle. Body dull, finish muddled. Not a bad beer, just nothing defining about it.

On tap at the Oregon Gardens Brewfest. Citrus and caramel. Light bitterness in the middle. Very tame finish that fades quickly.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white head on top of it. Nose is pretty light, with some slight floral elements as well as just a bit of caramel. Taste is slightly bitter, but has a residual sweetness to it on the back end. Doesn’t really drink like an IPA.

Draught at the Hotel in San Diego. Clear golden beer with a nice offwhite/yellowish head. Malty herbal aroma, grassy, some fruits.fruity malty flavor, grass, citrus. Quite disappointing.

Slight white head on a hazy copper beer. Not a very strong aroma, a little pine and honey, estery yeast. Astringent bitterness, pine resins, light apricot, stone fruit and sweet caramels. Fairly light bodied for such a high strength IPA and dry. Moderately bitter finish, again fairly dry and a little metallic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had in Eureka, CA on Tap Copper color with a thin white collar. Nose was caramel, pine and grapefruit. More of the English style IPA with a higher ABV. Malt really stood out. Taste was Caramel, biscuit, pine and grapefruit. More malt forward than anything else. A bit thin for the ABV but workable. Medium feel light and medium carbonation. Translates better on tap than in bottles that have made it to NZ. Nice beer actually.

Overall, not a bad IPA but not in the top notch class. Weak for the ABV and not that great hoppy aftertaste. ...but organic so a big plus for overall.
