The_Beer_God (2804), Newport News, Virginia, USA Nov 19, 2006 GABF 2006. Black bodied. Nose is bourbon, vanilla, chocolate and roasted malts. Pretty typical. Taste echoes that with more bourbon, roasty malts, dark fruits, chocolate, woody notes, and sweetened coffee. Body is creamy. Medium-full feel with light carbonation. Finishes with more roasty malts, chocolate, light coffee, vanilla some wood, and bourbon. goldtwins (3672), Nesconset, New York, USA Oct 23, 2006 GABF 2006: Very dark brown color with a tan head. Yummy creamy vanilla aroma. Vanilla played a big part in the flavor as well. The aroma and flavor had just enough bourbon. Notes of chcolate and roasted malt as well.
