A rich roasty brew with a deep "espresso" character. Originally brewed for the Imperial Court in Russia, this stout is a warm festive drink made with the cold Russian Winters in mind. This complex stout is brewed with a combination of nine domestic and imported malts. Only the finest Pacific Northwest hops are used to provide the perfect balance in our award winning beer.

Black with a tan head. The aroma has some chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is very sweet with some heavy chocolate and roasted malt. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Wow! Creamy, espresso goodness in this Russian imperial stout. Fit for a Czar, this stout is a thick, coffee-cocoa goodness bomb of wonderment. Huge thick brown head, lots of rings in the lacing, and a bolt of flavor that is as flavorful as I've had in a long time. Get this beer now. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ok stout. Pours a nice black with a light brown head. Smells very floral, strange for a stout. Taste is very light with some smokiness and hops. A stout should be creamier and sweeter IMO. Tastes more like a black IPA or black Lager then a stout. Paired with a Carbonara, makes the beer slightly malty'r. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle. Dark reddish brown with a light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, cocoa and alcohol. Flavor is rich chocolate, warming alcohol, sweet caramel malt and lightly bitter roast. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Solid beer but nothing out of the ordinary.

a fairly blah imperial stout, sure some notes of coffee and dark roasted grains, but pretty one dimensional.

Bottle thanks to jbrunner! Deep dark brown almost black pour with a small tan head. Roasted malts, plum, dark fruits with hints of chocolate. Kind of thin body with similar flavors as the aroma.

Pours a dark brownish black from the bottle with thin ring of tan head that leaves light lace. Aroma of dark chocolate and nice roasted coffee. Taste is chocolate up front, then bitter coffee finish, burn on the way down. Very nice, but nothing to really set it apart from any other imp stout.

On tap at Sixgill (they have very clean tap lines). Butter bomb. Over the top diacetyl. Buyer beware.

Strong Stout for strong palates. This beer will give you a mind blowing flavor, specially if you are looking for a beer with coffee and chocolate taste. Enjoy it! Cheers! -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
