Pours an extreme dark brown color that appears almost black with decent tan head that stayed for a while. The aroma is fruit, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is basically the same. I found the body to be a bit thin for the style. Carbonation seemed about right. This is a nice Imperial Stout that could be improved a bit of tweaking.

Bottle courtesy of Ibrew2or3. Pours a clear dark brown to black color with a thin tan head. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet with notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, ripe dark fruit, some hints of wood, smoke and vanilla. Flavor is roasted and malty with notes of ripe dark fruit, prunes, caramel, some phenol, dark chocolate and hints of wood and smoke. Generally medium to full body with a pleasing roasted malt chocolate finish.

#200 for this beer,22oz bottle. Not a completley dark pour, more of a dark crimson, had a beige head. Dark, roasty malts, some dark fruits as well. Slightly roasty, smooth and very drinkable, not what I would expect from an Imperial stout, but good.

Bomber from La Mesa Market. Very dark on the pour. Some ruby outlines. Roasted malty aromas. A little coffee and hoppiness. Flavor is fairly roasty with coffee and chocolate. A little bit of hoppiness in the finish. Alcohol is very well hidden. Pretty tasty.

650 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours an opaque black color with a fair tan head that has mediocre retention and left no lacing. The aroma is big and bold with ripe sweet dark fruits. The flavor is chocolaty with layered chocolates, mochas, a bit of biter walnuts and just a hint of raisins. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. The finish is long and biter-sweet. Overall A very good Impy stout and my favorite organic beer to date.

Thanks group for the share! Pours brown (cola) black with a nose of chocolate, slight coffee, and vanilla. Flavor is dark chocolate, deep coffee, nice dark maltiness, and layer after layer of depth. Enjoyable, and good to spend time with. It opened up once I let it sit for a minute; well balanced.

Not a super strong nose, some coffee and malt. Palate is very malty and some dark dark fruits. Very slippery in the mouth, goes down super easily. Overall a very good IS.

Draft: pours dark black with a frothy head, aroma of coffee, chocolate, malt, nice coffee, malty and chocolate flavors, fairly full mouthfeel. Good stuff.
