22 oz. bottle via trade with kenb - Pours a dark brown color with a one and a half finger thick tan head. Nice lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, light molasses, and light esters. Flavor is roasted malt and coffee. Palate has a sharp and slightly bitter bite. Medium body. Alcohol is well hidden. A good IS. Thanks Ken.

Dark brown with a fleeting tan head. Roasted and smoked nutty aroma with some cocoa. Smooth medium body. Mild flavors of roasted malts with some cocoa... i can’t believe this is a IRS, tastes more like a mild porter to me.

Bottle shared by OhioDad at C-Bus 6: Pours a nice black with a tan head. Aroma, roasty malts, chocolate, and some coffee. Flavor, matched the aroma pretty well, some slight bitterness on the end. Nice solid brew.

Pours dark black with a short lived beige head. Smell is licorice, and chocolate. Taste is the same with licorice, chocolate and is lightly bitter. Medium to full body with light to medium carbonation. Solid, licorice heavy imperial stout overall.

Bomber from La Mesa Market. Very dark on the pour. Some ruby outlines. Roasted malty aromas. A little coffee and hoppiness. Flavor is fairly roasty with coffee and chocolate. A little bit of hoppiness in the finish. Alcohol is very well hidden. Pretty tasty.

22 oz. bottle. Pours black with a moderate light brown head that completely disappeared after the first sip. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt and chocolate with lots of alcohol vapors. The flavor is again roasted malt with chocolate, which is then washed over with a strong alcohol flavor. There is plenty of heat from the alcohol, which lingers well beyond the swallow. A decent impy stout, but there are a good many others I would have again over this one.
