Sampled in a big bottle. Pours frothy yet clear dark brown with a nice amount of head on it. A really good brew. After taste is a bit strong, but not bad.

Draught. Dark red with thick tan head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Flavour has notes of bittersweet chocolate, and coffee beans. Hoppy finish with much alcohol warmth. Approach with caution, this is a strong one.

Dark amber color, a little light for the style, with a creamy beige head. Nice lacing. Aromas of alcohol, fruity esters, alcohol, caramel, and fusel alcohol. Flavor is malty with a thinnish mouthfeel. Solid bitterness. Again, lots of booze. Dark and red fruits and a burnt character. High carbonation, too much alcohol, not very drinkable, however it doesn’t have a bunch of absurd off-flavors like most organic beers. Not recommended.

Bottle. Heavy dark roasted and cereal malt aromas right up front, with light floral and citrus hops, leather for the yeast with dried cherry and brown sugar in the background. Head is small, frothy, faintly off-white with spotty lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is a deep reddish brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, a touch oily with a lively carbonation. Well balanced and nice complexity makes this a pretty good Old Ale.

Bomber. Dark reddish mahogany with a frothy almond color head, leaving spotty lacing. Sweet toffee malt aroma, with raisins, burnt sugar, oaken, vinous and earth notes. Earthy, slightly smoky dark caramel flavor. Dry woody finish with a peppery alcohol warmth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. A very "rustic" ale.

Bomber. Pours brownish amber with small off-white head. Aroma is boozy with toffee, brown sugar, sweet and caramel malts. Flavor is toffee, dark fruits, caramel, brown sugar with nice malty balance and a nice amount of booze in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel with average carbonation for the style. Decent old ale but nothing close to Kuhnhenn 4th.

This shit sucks. It is a carbon-copy of my second extract homebrew where I thought it would be a good idea to freestyle the recipe boiling 7lbs of extract in 2 gallons and throwing random amounts of palisade leafs in whenever the fuck I felt like it while I oversteeped by 3x the called for Crystal malt because I wanted to pump-up the malt mouthfeel . Recently finished the 48th bottle of the burnt caramel, soapy POS chewy grained sonnofabitch and was happy to never have to taste such a waste of time and good ingredients... then I cracked open this wunderbier at home on a sickday and proceeded to ruin my viewing of the new Eastwood Classic,Unforgiven contemplating whether to cut bait and pour it out or bite the bullet and hope it wouldn’t taste too bad puking it up later that evening. Ugh.
