3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Papago Brewing in Phoenix. This was absolutely delicious. Notes of vanilla and pear over a great, intense, wonderfully sharp classic American strong ale taste. Caramel malt holds it all together. A perfect balance. Highly recommended.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bomber dark in color with a nice white head, the aroma is malt sweetness, the taste is malt again with a candied fruit, the carbonation is nice and smooth, the back is the weak point with a residual taste I can’t place but not one I like. otherwise excellent

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
First impression was of sulfur and molasses. But there was something in the nose that I couldn’t put my finger on. Orange blossom. Went back with that in mind and the beer opened up! Nose of Rose Hips, generally floral, orange blossom. Honey sweetness that slowly melts on the tongue and morphs in to a biscuity white bread. One of the most complex beers I’ve ever tasted!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep rust color with a light yellowish tan head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, plums, candied citrus peel, raisin, and some berry. Taste is toffee, roast (almost smoky), hint of vanilla and nuts, some dried fruit but not as much as in the aroma. Medium bitterness, med-full palate.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours a murky, deep caramel brown with a big and fluffy off-white head, nice retention and lacing. Nose is malty, orange candy (like Dum Dum suckers), brown sugar, dates. Mouth is big and sticky, malt forward, toffee, vanilla, dried fruit, orange candy again, some slight citrus hoppiness kinda underpinning it all, some booziness on the back end. Tasty stuff, and the first beer I’ve had from these guys.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy, medium-brown pour with a light, frothy head. Sweet taste, with citrus notes and a light hop character. A nice mouthfeel and very well balanced.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thought this would be a trippel. It has a dark pour, tons of caramel and dark fruits. Not terrible.

Nice flavors and aroma for a big ale. Tastes a little thin for a 9.7% beer though.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bomber poured in a snifter. Strong malty aroma. Pours ruddy slightly cloudy dark copper. Flavor is rich malty and sweet. Noticeable alcohol burn, probably a little too pronounced. Very malty and boozy. Good triple, but not a standout.

Brown pour, beige head. Dark toffee, some fruity notes, more hops than I expected and some pumpernickel bread.
