Bottle at Huppel the Pub, Den Haag. Poured a slightly cloudy amber with a broken white head. The aroma is very malty, leading to a rich, malty, medium bitter flavour with a hint of sourness on the palate.

Bottle at Huppel. Pours murky light orange brown with an off white head. Aroma is malt in the forefront, with licorice, caramel and soy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Certainly not your average bitter.

Bottle @ huppel. Murky amber color with small ring of off white head. Aroma is hoppy, bringing fruits and toffee to the palate. Flavor is medium sweet, not bitter at all. I taste caramel and sweet sugar tones in the flavor. Quite ok for a bitter, strange enough.

’Green’, fresh hop aroma. Flavour has sticky sweet sugars mixed with the hops. Some resin too. Overall is sweet and a bit fruity with bitter hop finish.

Hazy orange brown, huge off-white head. Nice citrusfruit aroma and taste (orange), some underlying caramel malts. Very nice carbon.

I actually get honey on this and some elderberry and pineapple. Could be the cascade hops. Pleasant light bitter aftertaste. Bottle at Cafe Doerak in Delft.

Clean copper body with big, form off white head. Tasty smelling aroma of noble hops, leaves, fresh yeast, bit earthy and orange peel. Taste is quite straightforward bitter but with lots of flavour. Maybe plain but very tasty. Drinkable, smooth palate too. And that drinkability is further enhanced with the short but fine aftertaste. Very decent bitter and glad this brewer takes the challenge of making a bitter at all. Fairly priced too. (33cl bottle)

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Deep golden pour with a decent amount of creamy white head. Smells like spearmint gum with some hay and funk. Flavors of citrus and Belgian yeast.
