Bottled (at the Prael). Hazy orange/nutbrown colour, small beige head. Aroma is yeast, spices, fruits and some mild notes of cheese. Flavour is grass spices, hops, some malts and brutal earthy yeast.

I actually get honey on this and some elderberry and pineapple. Could be the cascade hops. Pleasant light bitter aftertaste. Bottle at Cafe Doerak in Delft.

Clean copper body with big, form off white head. Tasty smelling aroma of noble hops, leaves, fresh yeast, bit earthy and orange peel. Taste is quite straightforward bitter but with lots of flavour. Maybe plain but very tasty. Drinkable, smooth palate too. And that drinkability is further enhanced with the short but fine aftertaste. Very decent bitter and glad this brewer takes the challenge of making a bitter at all. Fairly priced too. (33cl bottle)

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Deep golden pour with a decent amount of creamy white head. Smells like spearmint gum with some hay and funk. Flavors of citrus and Belgian yeast.

Bottle, label says 6,8%. Hazy, dark blonde, dense white head. Fresh hoppy aroma, lime, coriander, vanilla. Reasonable bitter taste, nedium to full bodied, yeasty, not sweet, sout sour, somewhat dry, with some hints of banana and peaches. Nice with a nice finish.

(33cl bottle best by 6/2012 thanks to bu11zeye) clear medium yellow, lasting creamy head with effervescent bubbles. Nose of light citrus, mint, and a bit funky. Taste is spicy, orange, agave/earthy but liking it. Grapeskin lingers on the palate, good finish and well carbonated.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2011 Yellow golden color, small white head. Decent biterness in the taste, quite like it.(6-3-8-3-14) Re-rate 11-11-11 @ Cafe Buitenlust: hazy, opaque yellow / golden color, decent white head. Smell slightly sweet, some bitter. Taste malts, bitter, little bit earthy. Soft carbo, low to medium body. Still a nice, fresh beer though. (6-2-7-3-14)

Not as bitter as their Spring Warrior. Liked that one more. Pretty much an average beer.

On tap at In De Wildeman on 5 April 2011. Noted at 6.5%. Hazy pale amber colour. Good firm spicy hops in the aroma. Moderate bitterness on the palate with some citric grapefruit hop character. Straightforward but rather tasty and very drinkable for a 6.5% "bitter". Not much like a UK bitter though. More like those Belgian "bitters" such as De Ranke XX I’d say.
