NIce slightly cloudy beer with a nice head. aroma of malts and somekight roasted smell (simular to Westmalle Tripel). Good carbonation, good mixture of malts and hops. Feels stronger than a blonde of 6%, more like 8-9%. Nice!

Blonde thirst-quencher from a Dutch beer company, with off-white, regular head and orange blonde colour with large, unappetizing protein flakes. Aroma of caramel, bitter honey, biscuit, unripe peach, apple peel, grapefruit. Fresh citrussy onset, some sweetish malts, bit nutty, clean, finishing with grassy and bit citrussy hops.

6.2%, 33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis. Clear to cloudy golden yellow color, medium white head. Aroma light pilsener malt in the nose, flavor is light citrus, moderated belgian yeast, floral, honey, hint of caramel, bit more hoppy than a general blond beer. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, light umami. Light to medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, light bitter-sweet finish. Light refreshing beer, not very interesting, but a bit better than most of the blond beers.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Ordinary Belgian blond beer. Litle bitter, little fruity and quite yeasty. For in between.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy light amber with a broken white head. The aroma is yeasty, leading to a medium bitter flavour with yeast and a little acidity on the rather sharp palate. Quite drinkable, but no classic.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is grainy, somewhat spicy, a bit of wet dog and some fruity hops. Flavor is quite bitter, a bit watery and some fruity spices, has the clear scheldebrouwerij yeast aftertaste, which I don’t like.

Countbeer (4393) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2012
Bottle: Thanks Maarten: Medium sized, vast, thick and fluffy white head which changes pretty quick into an almost closed thin lacing on top of a hazy murky yellow colored beer. Smell porridge, wheat, floral, some hops, some citrus, dust, hint of cardboard, hints of yellow fruit and plants/herby tones. Taste hops, bitters, light creamy, floral, honey, light bitter, hint of citrus, pils malts, some plants, yeast and a light fruity touch. Aftertaste is floral, light gass, bitter, some hops and malts... Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. Had hope for more hops, but all by all not bad but quite basic... Pity.
