| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 5, 2009 Bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep dark brown color. Maltaroma with pineapple. Malty sweet, soft roasty flavor with a touch of smoke and a hint of cheap Scotch whisky. The whisky malt gives this standard bock just the extra edge. altonbrownd (1968), Amsterdam, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Bottle from Bierkoning. Dark brown body with thin white head. Malty and slightly smoky nose. Taste of ham, then smoke. Malty finish. A bit watery but also quite crisp. The Smoke is too much for me, not as sweet as boks often are. But nice nonetheless.
