Bottle: Thanks Maarten: Medium airy but vast, sticky and slow disappearing creamy light tan ish jead on top of a deep dark mirky muddy brown colored beer. Smell liquorice, bay leaf, toasted barley malts, light sour (berries) touch, hint of manure, yeast, hint of roasted wood, some hops and herbs Taste bay leaf, liquorice, light roast, yeast, some herbs, hint of hops, bitters, spicy, toasted/light roasted barley malts. Aftertaste is spicy with bay leaf and a light peppery touch, nice bitterness, darker ingredients, hops, light porridge and a toasted grass hint. Low carbo, soft gentle almost silky mouthfeel, good medium body which tends to go to a fuller body and a creamy smooth texture. Very nice beer. Interesting (if they would use brett)?

Hazy brown beer. Semi soft and semi dry palate. Light sour malt, a touch of unsweet chocolate and a whisper of marmite. Finishes dry with just a trace of fruit. Competent.

Bottle, pours dark red-brown, earth and tart plums and cherries on the nose, then blackberry, plum, biscuit and pine hops on the palate. Light but sharp hop bitter and a little dark cocoa finish.

DutchDrebus (2260) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAR 28, 2012
Hazy ruby brown colour with a big off-white head. Beer gushed slightly when opened. Smells yeast, alcohol, sharp. Tastes caramel, liquorice, chocolate. Quite a surprise, a bit stout like. Also some iron and rust taste, which is a shame. Slightly watery though, a lot of carbo.

erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - JAN 29, 2012
Dark brown, with a glow, small head. Mellow aroma, some caramel, raisin, bit of rye bread, sour apples. Nice though. Taste is more boring, light bitterness, easily drinkable. Fairly long aftertaste. Nothing wrong with the texture at all really. Accessible and well brewed, but passable for the advanced drinker. (33cl bottle)

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small tan head. Aroma is yeasty, phenolic, citrusy and orange fruity hops note. Bitter, citric, slight earthy, vague cheesy and breadish flavoured. Bitter and light citrusy hops fruity finish with an underlying malt base.
