33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis. Reddish-brown color, brownish creamy medium head. Aroma caramel, biscuit, roasted malt, chocolate, mocha, light coffee, licorice notes, quite hoppy, good balance. Taste medium sweetness, medium to heavy roasted bitterness. Full body, oily feel, soft carbonation, medium bitter finish. Delicious dessert beer.

Starts as an ordinary dubbel, but ends on a fruity note. Unexpectadly fresh, I liked it.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark chesnut with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is yeasty leading to a medium bitter, malty flavour with slightly acidic, alcoholic palate. Quite drinkable.

Bottle: Thanks Maarten: Medium airy but vast, sticky and slow disappearing creamy light tan ish jead on top of a deep dark mirky muddy brown colored beer. Smell liquorice, bay leaf, toasted barley malts, light sour (berries) touch, hint of manure, yeast, hint of roasted wood, some hops and herbs Taste bay leaf, liquorice, light roast, yeast, some herbs, hint of hops, bitters, spicy, toasted/light roasted barley malts. Aftertaste is spicy with bay leaf and a light peppery touch, nice bitterness, darker ingredients, hops, light porridge and a toasted grass hint. Low carbo, soft gentle almost silky mouthfeel, good medium body which tends to go to a fuller body and a creamy smooth texture. Very nice beer. Interesting (if they would use brett)?
