0,33 flaske delt med Steve og håndimportør Ovesen: højt skum! Klar gylden farge. Ubehagelig aroma av grønne epler og sur malt. Smaken er bedre, dominert av citrus og grønne epler. Bitter ettersmak.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A rich, golden colour with very frothy white head. There is a malty sweetness to the taste with hints of honey and a fruity, dry finish. Slightly strange taste with a very malty quality which is slightly out of kilter with the apple-like sweetness. Not unpleasant and with a very individual character but not a beer I would re-visit too often. The strength (6.5%) makes it very mouth-filling but without the complexity of a Duvel or similar.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear golden. Huge off-white head. Citrus, green apples, grain, unfermented malt, grass and yeast in aroma and taste. Bitter grapefruit in aftertaste. Green apples gradually takes over in aroma as it is left in the glass.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle BB . Clear gold pour with white head. Aroma is weird vegetal, grassy hop, honey malt. Taste is better, piney hops, quite bitter, long grassy finish, light honey sweetness. Palate is med bodied, light carbonation. Not bad, despite the funky aroma.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear yellow tot orange with a huge white frothy head. Smell is floral and sweet. Taste is grapefruit, pine, mildly bitter, but the bitterness lingers on quite heavy, bit to much. I had the same experience with the Foxy Lady from Eem. Nevertheless an enjoyable beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis. Clear golden color, good lacing very big rocky white head. Aroma belgian yeast, citrus, caramel, floral, fruity, apple pie, slight licorice, slighly hoppy at the beginnig but more and more hoppy flavor comes later. Taste light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly salty. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, average bitter-sweet finish. Refreshing, quite belgian style-ish at the beginnig which turns to more IPAish, interesting.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not how I think an IPA should be. A bit too much in the sweetish region with belgian style hops. More of a Duvel - but maybe that ´s the good Point about it. Quaffy, nice, warming.
