Bottle BB . Clear gold pour with white head. Aroma is weird vegetal, grassy hop, honey malt. Taste is better, piney hops, quite bitter, long grassy finish, light honey sweetness. Palate is med bodied, light carbonation. Not bad, despite the funky aroma.

Clear yellow tot orange with a huge white frothy head. Smell is floral and sweet. Taste is grapefruit, pine, mildly bitter, but the bitterness lingers on quite heavy, bit to much. I had the same experience with the Foxy Lady from Eem. Nevertheless an enjoyable beer.

33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis. Clear golden color, good lacing very big rocky white head. Aroma belgian yeast, citrus, caramel, floral, fruity, apple pie, slight licorice, slighly hoppy at the beginnig but more and more hoppy flavor comes later. Taste light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly salty. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, average bitter-sweet finish. Refreshing, quite belgian style-ish at the beginnig which turns to more IPAish, interesting.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, sehr hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, fruchtig malzig, exotische Früchte.

Not how I think an IPA should be. A bit too much in the sweetish region with belgian style hops. More of a Duvel - but maybe that ´s the good Point about it. Quaffy, nice, warming.

Stubby bottle, 330 ml, poured into a big tulip at home. ABV 6.5% Dark orange golden colour on the body, with a huge white head on top that keeps rising and rising. Lots of activity in there. The head has a great retention. Thick lacing left on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, grassy hops, nutty but fruity too, some floral notes. Taste follows the aroma, grassy fresh hops, grapefruit and citrusy notes, some flowers. Mildly bitter with good bitterness duration. Medium thin body, okay carbonation. Very good IPA.

Bottle from Douberd - many thanks :) The beer pours out in a cloudy orange-amber colour with steady big head and medium body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and hops. Taste of ripe hops, Belgian yeast, malt, flowers and apples. Light sour hints and a mild, yeasty finish. It lacks definitely some hops and character when it comes down to this beer being an IPA - but otherwise it ain’t that bad.

Tap @ jan primus, medium sample. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma of grassy and citrussy hop, slight malty. Medium bitter, hint of sweetness, bit dry. Easy drinker, decent beer.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, large and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, some citrus and light grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and faint tropical fruitiness, piney and some citrus hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and dryish, faint caramel, lots of citrus - piney fruitiness. Well hopped IPA, but finish lacks fruitiness - also bitterness gets bit soapy and harsh.

It pours a layer of frothy foam of one finger thick. The foam disappears quickly, it leaves a small layer of foam. The beer looks clear, golden/orange. Aroma’s of tropical fruit, grass, banana, a bit soapy, and a bit of lemon. The taste is really delicious, with a light to medium sweet taste, and a medium to heavy bitter aftertaste, which is quite long lasting. The aftertaste is even a bit medicine-bitterness, which is less nice. In this beer you can also taste a bit of citrus/orange. I really like it! The texture is thin (which isreally like for this type of beer), with a really good carbonation, an almost heavy sparkling carbonation. Overall I really enjoyed this beer, but the medicine-bitterness in the aftertaste is something that I don’t really like. But the sweet, tropical-taste start, which changes to a good bitterness. So only the long-lasting aftertaste is something I don’t like. But overall I really enjoyed this beer, it is a beer that I would like to drink more, and so it gets the total score of 4.
