Smells lightly sour. Tastes bitter, but I don’t taste enough of the Chinook-hops and it doesn’t really tastes like 60 EBU to me. Maybe a little bit thin texture, but still a very nice mouthfeel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4526) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 5, 2010
(Bottled) Opaque amber with a small, mostly fading head. Yeasty and (exotic-)fruity, sweetish-caramely aroma, a bit like ’t IJ Columbus. Yeasty and homebrewish-harsh flavor with licorice, exotic fruit, and cookie-like maltiness, candy sweetness. 60 EBUs are well hidden in the sweet-fruity yeastiness. Almost medium body, quite low and soft carbonation. Quite a homebrewish attempt to follow the fashionable US hops wave, yet in some strange ways I like this. 5434

After a tour in england, france and belgium, i was craving some american hops! Sampled at Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Hazy orange/amber with a small baige head. Fruity peach and mandarine aroma. Sweet fruity "blond" flavor with fresh leaves and a heavy bitterness in the finish.
