3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ekstedt (4544) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 19, 2011
Bottle (33 cl) from the Cracked Kettle. Hazy amber with medium white head. Typical Belgoyeast aroma with spicy, floral, and herbal notes, some tropical fruit hops as well. Dry with a nice bitterness which I doubt is IBU 60. Overall very nice and tasty.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 maeib (7542) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2011
Bottled. A hazy amber/orange coloured beer with an off-white head. A decent orangey hoppy nose. Hoppy in the mouth too, but very yeasty. Benelux influences over an IPA style of hopping. It’s too yeasty to be fun, but it’s drinkable enough.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 skortila (4166) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JAN 10, 2011
Bottled. The aroma has citrus, some dust. Hazy, yellow-orange coloured beer with a thin, off-white head. The taste is slightly bitter and has a little sweetish accent. Citrus there and dusty yeast, some tangerine, some red flowery fruitiness. Dry finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

Bottle. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are caramel and biscuit malts with herbal notes. Woody, spicy and clean with lightly spicy pine. Flavours are floral, spicy, bitter pine with earthy, woody notes. Lemon fruitiness with a grapefruit bitter and woody dry finish. Decent.

Bottle@Home. Malty, light hoppy aroma, strangely enough indeed some rosebuds aroma. Pale yellow, off-white head, fair lace. Too fruity for a bitter, not bitter enough for an IPA. It’s more like a well hopped Belgian Ale. Not bad though.

On tap at Cafe Belgique, Utrecht. Gold with white head. This totally surprised me, genuinely dry and very hoppy with sharp bitterness and a lasting citric note, great length. A very decent beer indeed.
