Bottle 330ml @ fonefan
Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, caramel and hint of funk. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, slightly funky and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy

Bottle. A dark brown beer with a small, beige head. The aroma is quite weak, with chocolate and peaches, as well as some coffee. It’s lightly sourish on the palate, soft and a bit thin and flat, with flavors of coffee, chocolate and some caramel sauce. Short, roasted finish with caramel and coffee. Superbly boring this one. Not foul in any way. 141024

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a big and fairly lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and yogurt. Flavor is quite sweet and slightly acidic. Sweet finish. Thin for the ABV. Something doesn’t seem right here. 241014

Drank 27-7 while reding Harry Potter. Very strong roasted malt and nuts, wooden smell. Very peculiar. Tastes that way as well. Roasted malt, ’wood’, and dark chocolate. But, this is only in the aftertaste. It begins with an unpleasant mix of water and coffee. Medium thin beer. I find the taste that comes back after swallowing the beer slightly unpleasant. Hints of wood, roast, and coffee. The beer is like a bad version of Black Albert with added roasted nuts, malt and wooden hints.

33cl bottle @ home from Bert’s Bierhuis. Black color, high rocky brown head which is nearly exploded as a shaked champagne, good lacing. Aroma coffee, roasted malt, dark fruits, dark chocolate, dates, hint of soy sauce and licorice, complex and well balanced. Light to medium sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Full body, creamy and sticky texture, average carbonation, excellent medium lasting coffeeish bitter finish. Great dessert beer.
