Medium sized, vast and slowly changing, beige creamy colored foamy head on top of a deep dark red beer, when hold in the light it appears to be an almost clear deep ruby colored beer.
The aroma is nothing like an IPA, a thin mix of caramel, autumnal herbs, brown sugars/molasses, grains, a hint of sharp hop citrus and stingy herbs.
The flavours are like the aroma nothing like an IPA: yeast, sharper herbs, hint of hops, bitter, sharper herbs, stingy hops, malts, nuts, caramel, meal, porridge and dusty malts.
Aftertaste is bitter with herbs, yeast, wood, malts and (sharper) herbs.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture.
I hope I had a wrong bottle, if not, this is not a good IPA, while I had other IPA’s from this brewery that were pretty ok, this beer does not come close to those beers, let alone IPA’s in general. Pity!

Bought it when visiting Amersfoorth some weeks back. Tried to get as many local beers as possible. Pours hazy chestnut. Aroma of roast caramel malt, dried fruits and seasonal spices. Aroma of light roast malt, fruit and spices. Dry with slightly bitter finish.

Aroma: volmoutig, zoet, citrus, deeg
Smaken: matig zoet, zwaar hopbitter, sterk, sterke mouten(aardse-, geroosterde en gebrande)
Matige body, dun, laag co2.
Bittere afdronk maar bovenal totaal maar dan ook totaal GEEN ipa

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and pine hops. Bitter, light metallic, medium sweet malty and quite hoppy. Pine and slight grapefruity finish.

330 ml bottle, poured into a tulip glass.ABV 7.5%
Pours a bright red colour, semi-transparent, with a big beige head on top, creamy and with good retention, leaving some nice lacing behind.
Fruity citrus aromas, mostly of grapefruit along with a very interesting cookies smell.
Nicely bitter taste, even more bitter on the aftertaste. Again the dominant flavours are of grapefruit. No trace of the alcohol on the taste, good.
Meduim thickness on the body, good amount of carbonation. Very dry on the palate.
Overall a tasty IPA with an interesting appearance too.

Clear red colour, beige head. Aroma of hops, liquorice, drop and caramel. Light bitter flavour, a sweet touch, honey. Finish honey and liquorice.
Not quite sure why it is named IPA, but otherwise quite an enjoyable beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Bert’s Bierhuis. Reddish brown with an off-white head. Fruity malty aroma. Good amount of hops and a pleasant bitterness. Medium carbonation and a good strong bitter aftertaste. A tasty winter warmer.

(draught) pours a hazy ruby colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of toasted malts, cherries and straw, with a light hint of butter, dark chocolate and herbal hops. flavour is mostly raisins, caramel and liquorice, with a faint hint of herbal hops and a sugary grainy finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from ABC Beers. Pours hazy red with an off white head. Aroma do malt, fruit and hops. Flavour has same aspects with a little spice, medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied and soft carbonation.
