Bottle sample at PINT Winterbierfestival ’12. Slightly hazy amber colour, off white head. Aroma of light roasted malts, hint of coffee, light fruity hops, caramel, amber malts. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, a bit cloying, light roast, nutty, light hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Not a favourite, but OK.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.

Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, wood, flowers - rose, fruity - flowory hops. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, hoppy, wood, light chocolate, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120319]

Botte. Murky brown color. The tiniest chunks of yeast. Red fruit and mango in the aroma. Hops, red fruit, ripe mango and cinnamon in the flavor. Full bodied. The hops compensate the sweetness. Good balance.

@ Pint WBF. The aroma has citric hops, light toffee malts. Red-brown coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is a bit caramel malty, citric, slightly spicy. Nice.

Dark red brown, off-white head. Taste is hops, spices, some black fruit, hops, medium sweetness and some bitterness.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is loads of c hops, some yeast, some malt. Flavour is medium bitterness, medium dry, long lingering bitter sweetness. Definitely some winter touches in this beer. Nice.

Bottle at Winterbierfestival, Gouda: Brown/red coloured brew with an decent American hops explosion, taste starts fruity,sweet and finish citrus bitterish.

Big wham of American hops, poors a cloudy red with a low head. head dissipates rather quickly... taste is hoppy (as expected) almost no malt present. very herbal too. body is slightly oily, aftertaste is quite long. Nice beer

Verrrry nice. Winter Spices, cloves, maybe cinnamon, even anise is possible. Nice unripe pineapple finish that pleasantly lingers for quite some time. Lot of carbonation. Bottle from De Bierwinkel in Leiden.
