See through black, like an american strong. One noted aroma with some roasty caramel. Taste same. Over carbonated.

Opaque dark almost black colour. The short head disappeared quickly. Some sweet dark malts in the smell. In the taste, dark roasted malts, almost caramelized. Slightly smoky caramel with some fruity notes of cherries, and a sweet after taste, almost like soda. Hops only add some thickness. The mouthfeel may be as bit light and watery. Still a decent beer.

Pours a clear dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, grain, cereal and brown sugar. Taste is much of the same but is fairly thin... Lots of flavors but really light bodied but very nice to eat with Turkish cousine.

Twist cap 12 oz bottle served in a snifter. Just purchased but way past best by date stamped on back. With a clear bottle, this doesn’t bode well. The slightly skunky aroma and moderately skunky flavor confirm that the beer is not at its best. I try to compensate for this in my evaluation. Pours clear, dark, red-brown with a thin, weak head. Aroma: toffee; medium roast nuts and malts; not bad. Flavor: skunky but with an appealing Feel: smooth; medium-light body. O: Looking past the aging effects I see a solid dunkel worth revisiting.

(50cl bottle) Pours a clear mahogany body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of grain, caramel, and brown sugar. Flavor of caramel, grain, and bread with a moderately dry, metallic finish.

Pours light brown and lightly fizzy. Light aroma of generic beer. Okay taste and palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canette de 50clé achetée en Turquie. 12.12.13.
