1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear bottle with dark brown lager. Foam passes quickly waning. Slightly synthetic malt and hops aroma in the background. The flavor is caramel and again a slightly synthetic flavor that reminds me of plastic or gum. Hoppy bitterness is long and not so bad, but on the whole it is not beer that impresses.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty molasses, a bit of nut, a bit of vegetal m alts and coffee candy. The flavor was malty molasses, dark fruit, a touch of red meat and coffee candy. Long molasses and red meat finish. Medium body. Ok.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
33 cl bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a dark brown with a khakihead of foam. The aroma is grassy, skunky, and a touch roasty. The taste has sweet roast character, a bit of char, and then that skunky note comes through. Medium body and medium carbonation. All things considered, i think the beer would be better if it werent skunked. Maybe a draft pour would be more enjoyable.

Dark beer like regular pilsener beer but black. Taste is little different than regular efes pilsen but not better

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Dark clear and with a initial promising taste of liquorice and caramel. However the beer turns out too sweet and malty with a quite neutral palate.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pint pour from bottle of fairly dark brown with Amber notes at edging. Head is minimal and reduces to a halo with some spotting on top of the beer. Nose is sweet caramel and roasted nuttiness. Like roasted walnuts or hazelnuts... Almonds. Roasted almonds. Flavor is sweetly roasted caramel and mild spicy hop notes. Light to medium bodied but still full flavored. It’s not that bad, even if I don’t love the style. It’s moderately sweet, a little maybe for my taste.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dark brown appearance, not that big of a head
Aroma/taste/palate of caramel and dark malts
There is a weird sourness at the end, no sure why
Too sweet, not bitter enough, and an odd beer to boot
