Tasteful with nuts or with fried chicken as a meal. I choose this beer as water also. Why would I drink water if there is beer? :)

Maybe, just maybe, this tasted so good to me because I had the Pilsner right before this one. But I don;t think so, because this really tasted good. Very malty, but had this great chocolate undertone. Reminded me very much of a Casta with nesquik in it.

First experience with any Turkish beer. Efes had a sweet aroma, and poured without much head at all. There was a tiny bit of hop flavor with hints of molasses. Crisp finish and an wonderful overall beer.

Has a very dark brown color. Smell is of malts, some toffee. Taste is good, malts, smoke, a touch of caramel. Overall a refreshing and enjoyable beer.

12oz bottle at the Brickskeller. Interestingly only has a label around the neck. Brown amber color, with a big frothy head. Hits you with that Eastern-European noble spicy hoppiness, pretty nice actually. A Dunkel with some Pils sensibilities. Pleasant surprise. Medium bodied, well done for the style.

Bottled. A very dark brown beer with a sour chocolate and malt aroma. It is very tasty with chocolate and saltiness coming through. An oily texture and very enjoyable.
