Bottle. Dark brown with a medium, slowly-diminishing, beige head. Aroma of malt, grain, light toastiness and a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of an adjuncty touch, some toasted bread and caramel. Finishes a bit drier.. Slightly watery. Overall the adjuncts character is a bit unpleasant but it’s still ok.

Jun 28, 2008 Sweet hop malt aroma with steele. Black coca cola colour with poor head and lacing. Malt hop flavour with chemicals. Thin palate.

Jun 23, 2008 The appearance is nice with a dark brown body and a foamy beige head. The aroma is moderated toffee and bread. The taste is light caramel and toffee. Not bad but would not search for it.

Jun 6, 2008 Bottle from Denzir beach bar Marmaris, much much better than the Dark Brown i had previous, appearance is similar but that’s were it ends this is sweet, malty and toffee like and has none of its brothers Tia-Maria like sicklyness - so good i had 3 and for 2.5 YTL each bargain.

Jun 1, 2008 Appearance is brown with a beige head. Aroma of toffee, malt, and bread. Taste is of caramel, bread, and malt. Mouth is medium-bodied and smooth. Finish is a little bitter and dry.

May 19, 2008 Had at a bar in Taksim Square, Istanbul. Much better than Efes Pilsen: more body and more a real distinct flavor. Initial taste is very sweet with some malt but then turns almost a worchestershire sauce flavor with the alcohol not so well hidden. Good but would not order again.
