Bottle. Pours clear dark brown, almost no head. Aroma is of roasted malt, grain, and hay. Taste is medium sweet dominated by grain and roasted malt, with something else I could not identify that was a bit weird, but not bad. No significant bitterness from start to finish. A little watery on the palate.

Lagerboy (419) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2012
Clear dark brown, amber hue. Light brown head fades fast. Caramel roasted malt aroma and taste, sweet dark fruits. Fizzy and light, low hopped. Boozy, burnt sugar and molasses. Oily and watery. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Several bottles in random bars in Istanbul on the night Galatasary won the league. Clear dark reddy brown pour with a small tan head. Sweet malt and toffee notes in the nose. Similar flavour with some dark fruit present and fairly noticable alcohol. To wash down a bit of Mezze its fine, and this is probably about as good as you’re likely to find in Turkey.

Another stop at Zeke’s Roadhouse. I am touring the world this weekend through crappy brew from far away lands. That being said this wasn’t so bad. pours brown with thin head. tastes of muted roasted malt, caramel, and ash.

brown with one finger of head. slightly malty, but otherwise flavorless. odd how something this dark can be this watered down. not unpleasant, but quite forgettable.

Scipio (185) - Vernon Hills, Illinois, USA - APR 30, 2012
Pours a black with a white head. Aroma is extremely skunky. Unpleasant would put it mildly. Luckily, the taste is not as bad as the aroma. Carmel and bread, kind of watery. Foul aftertaste.

MrFecesious (122) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 21, 2012
Originally reviewed Mar. 1, 2007: poured with a decent amount of head. poured very fast that is. head was a light tan colour that didn't last very long at all. colour was deep amber. decent for a dark. aroma was only pretty much malty and thats about it. flavour showed some lightly sweet malts. easy drinking brew that i wouldn't search out to buy again.

vipinvelp (337) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2012
Very dark brown color with thick foam head. Looks good, but the taste is less, in fact what taste? Bit sweet, where is the alcohol? Mistake to buy this. (Ankara, 201202)
