I tried this at dinner in Goreme. I was, frankly, kinda horrible. Skunky bad flavor, really thin. Bad overall. Worst beer I’ve had in Turkey so far.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Leighton (6945) - London, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2012
Bottle at Pat’s Birthday Tasting at ChrisO’s, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, white foam head. Cereal. Weak and lightly sweet. Fairly bland. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild sweet finish with slightly dry cereal malts. It’s not offensive, and as far as pale lagers go, I’d rather have it weak and bland versus sugary sweet and unbalanced. Decent.
