Pours a yellow pale color with a thin white head. Aromas are grass, malts and light hops. A hint of caramel, but quite common pilsner.

Aroma: Medium-light grainy, slight honey, bready crust. Light floral hops. Appearance: Body: brilliant light gold. Head: Large white, fizzy, fair retention. Flavour: Malt: Medium grainy, melanoidin, Medium-light bitterness. Balanced towards bitterness. Medium-dry finish. Light floral hops. Mouthfeel: Medium body with medium, creamy carbonation. Slight carbonic sting. Overall: Nice. Sweeter than what I expect from a pilsner. 500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 2A. German Pilsner (Pils)

Bottled, thanks koelschtrinker! Clear pale golden, fizzy head. Boiled vegetables dominate the nose. Sweetish with gassy mouthfeel and light-medium body. Syrupy malt extract, boiled vegetables and not much other things. Low bitterness. Crappy industrial swill.

Bottle from Migros Supermarket, Antalya. Giallo dorata, limpida, schiuma bianca di breve persistenza, grossolana. aroma maltato, leggermente erbaceo da luppolo, officinale. gusto secco piuttosto amaro. Poco corposa, poco carbonata, per nulla calda. Abbastanza equilibrata.

500ml bottle with an omelette at a cafe in the occupied north of Nicosia, or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, depending on your stance. 30/07/14. Skim of halo on pale hold. Nose light lemon barley, straw and honey. Papery pale grain and pine licks taste; decent lemon and lime wine gum hints, honey. Quenching and without off notes. When it’s 38c, you’re streaming with sweat in the shade, this well and truly hits the spot. Although I’m saddened to note I’ve been dethroned as the site’s premier rater of Efes.

Aroma: hay, malt Appearance: tawny, clear, minimal head Taste: slight bitterness, slight sweetness Palate: abrupt finish, medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture A nice full lager. The review might be biased since it was tasted by beautiful Turkish weather.

Flavor is full of cereal grain. Clear golden with a white head. Lightly grainy aroma with a bit of citrus. A step up from standard Efes. Decent lager.

On 50 cl can from Alanya. Golden color, good foam. Aromas of malt, boiled vegetables and some fruitiness . Light/ medium body & complexity . Some bitterness - ok balance. Ok enough( as expectations to any Efes are low ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml can, pours a yellow coloured body. Herbs, perfume citrus and some sweet notes to the nose, hints of wood, clove, but mostly perfume and citrus in taste as well. It’s probably a nice and refreshing drink on a Turkey beach, but feels quite sad, thin and bland on a rainy day in Tromsĝ. Sampeled at Rating Session 16.06.14. Thanks to Rune for sharing and to his missus for bringing it from Turkey to Tromsĝ.

Boks 0,5l spandert av Rune. Delt i godt selskap pċ Nerstranda 18 Jun 14. Veldig lys gylden. 0 skum. Svak sĝt maltaroma. Smaken er papp. Blir litt syrlig & bitter etter hvert.
