3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautiful foaming lager beer, which is brewed as all-malt lager. Malt and hops grown in Turkey. Perhaps it is not just Turkey one associates with good lagers, but this lager is all pretty good. It is perhaps due to Turkey in recent decades has become a popular destination for tourists, and perhaps because Efes just want to satisfy the German tourists with beer as they can recognize from their homeland. This lager is very clean in its flavor and associate strongly to the good German lagers. Malt flavor is distinctive and gives good body and light sweetness. Carbonation is soft and fine maintains its malt sweetness long. Fresh grain is its main flavoring and towards the end it has a good hoppy bitterness who gets a good balance in the beer. I started to enjoy it cold from the fridge, but a little tempering makes it only more flavorful and delicate. The strength is usual for a lager, but the light temperate beer tastes a little more along as a good strong beer.

mouthfeel. Dryish dusty earthy oily aftertaste with fruity straw
notes. Not bad at all. (0.33l bottle, gift from wife.)
