50cl Bottle on Syros. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of paper, corn, starch, light malty, rice. Flavour is light, crisp, rice, paper, dry, artificial sweetness, maltose, very light-bitter finish. Light-bodied. Drinkable, but no more than that.

Grabbed a 50cl can of this from some random shop in Beyoglu. Iím 95% sure this is the same thing because the mug of beer shape is on the can same as on the bottle in the photo (label reads "Brewmasterís Draft Beer" or " Ustasindan FiÁı Bira"). The can is actually pretty cool. The label, which wraps around the entire can, is made to look like a beer barrel and the can itself even bulges out at the barrel bands. Sadly, that is the highlight of the beer. Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Thin, overly carbonated body. Flavor? Aroma? Havenít found íem yet. In all seriousness- I havenít found an aroma or tasted anything of note. No hops, no malt, just tingly bubbles. But that can sure is cool.

Bottle thnx to Karin . Pours clear yellow, very small white head Smell is malty Taste is rather sharp bitterness, with an undertone of cheap, sweet maltextract . finishes dry ( sugary style ) pretty weak taste, even for the style

500ml bottle - thanks Marduk!
Woh - thatís a Stary Melnik Iz Bochonka bottle! (Yeah, and Stary Melnik is Efes Russia...) Pale. Sweet cornflakey aroma, pretty harmless. More harmful in the mouth. Starchy, dry, flour, walpaper paste. Sweetish later, but very cardboardy right from the start. Finish chemical and harsh. Watery, fizzy, crap pale lager. Do not want.

500ml bottle (thanks Mari & Kalm). Clear yellow color. Small size, chunky white head, stays. Sweet, nettles, cardboard in aroma. Cardboard, grainy, papery, watery taste. Long lasting cardboard in aftertaste. Nasty not drinkable body.

Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is malt, corn, brewing cereal and some hay. Taste is not exciting. After a while, these Turkish beers started to taste the same.

Picked up in Istanbul. Pours a clear golden color, topped with an average white head. Thereís not much to the aroma, just some minimal sweet malty smell. The taste starts watery, followed by watery body. There is very little bitterness in the finish. Had many better ones than this one.
